Power supply and operation

Reach RS3 has a built-in Li-Ion battery that provides 18 hours as an RTK rover with tilt compnsation and 22 hours of logging of autonomous operation when logging data and up to 18 hours as an RTK rover with tilt compensation.

Charging over USB

You can power and charge Reach RS3 via the USB-C cable using the following power supplies:

  • A power bank
  • A USB wall adapter

Powering Reach RS3 from external bottom connector

Reach RS3 can automatically turn on and off when the power is supplied to the device via an external 9-pin bottom connector with a voltage in the range from 6 V to 40 V. You can enable this feature in the Emlid Flow settings.

The receiver requires 5W to charge. Operation requires an average of 7.5 W (maximum 10 W).
